Jenny Toro please tell me this isn't the last we will hear of these two!! Your characters are awesome and it is a very cute, but serious story and I would love to read more about Mel and Kiera!! Many people think that a complete story can't be told in a book of 50 pages or less. They don't think the author can get the plot out there and have a ending that doesn't leave the reader wanting more. Jenny Toro has made mincemeat of that myth. She has written a short story that tells you a complete but beautiful story. Yes, you do want more, but not for this book, you will want her to write more books about the characters Mel and Kiera!!Product details

Very well done. It's not Gone With The Wind but it is a sweet, aww, type of story. Two best friends love each other one sees it the other doesn't. Great flow, and word play, I laughed and got teary-eyed.

This story has that ache of something that's at your fingertips but you just can't hold it in your hands. It's sweet and sassy, clever and witty. It maintains enough anticipation to keep you turning the page to get to the pay off and for a short story it packs an eclectic emotional punch. In short it's delightful.
This story had me hooked from the first sentence. It's not easy to create a story arc in 10,000 words and to hold the readers attention while fast tracking character development, but this author nailed it. The story was engaging, funny and romantic, and hanging there in the background the reader's growing desire to see the two main characters get together. Will they? When will they? You'll have to read the story to find out. The author has a quick wit which is woven into the characters and the story. Loved the Mom character Nancy, hilarious.
Quick, engaging read. I enjoyed every moment of Kiera and Mel's story. The dialogue is witty and believable. The story is heartfelt and relatable. I laughed more than once, and I found myself falling in love with the characters as I traveled with them. Here's why it is five stars—I didn't want it to end. I wanted to spend more time with Kiera and Mel. I hope that we will see them again. A great addition to the lesbian fiction genre.

The banter between characters is refreshing and the country Humor makes you smile. Great short story, I look forward to reading a full book from this author. Soon I hope!!!!
